About Membership in the KC Kite Club.....

We consider anyone who flies a kite in the area a member of the club if they desire to be. You may already be a member, but did not know it. We have no dues, just promote family kite flying fun and events. If you like kites, fly kites, make kites, or want to know more about kites, we'll help you out. It may be a small club but the KCKC has its share of nationally recognized kite enthusiasts as well as kite festivals that attract people from across the nation.

The exclusive purpose of the Kansas City Kite Club organization is to educate the public about the art, techniques, science, technology, history, safe practices of kite flying, and kite making in our community. Additionally the techniques and creativity of kite making are a major central purpose of the educational outreach programs we conduct. Our kiting educational programs and demonstrations are always open to the public.
